Indianic Group salvaged a yacht for RAC WA from Quindalup Beach – April 2025
Salvage operation safely and successfully carried out by Indianic Group on Quindalup Beach, Western Australia.
The RAC WA engaged Indianic’s salvage services to recover a yacht that had broken loose from its mooring during a storm, and was left adrift until beaching itself.
The Indianic team – led by Ben Thomas – worked through the recent public holiday weekend to carry out what was a challenging operation. This involved first recovering the vessel from shore, using custom salvage floats to move back into the water and then towing it safely to the boat lifters at Geographe Bay, approximately 25km away.
“This was a technically, and physically, demanding task, so the Indianic team onsite should be commended on executing it with professionalism and skill,” Indianic Group Managing Director Nigel Rees said.
